Congratulations to all of our recent FCB Heroes!!
"Having lived in Saline county most of my life and with strong roots in the community my heart was missing out on a Spiritual Home. God planted me and my daughter, Kelsey, at Family Church over 6 years ago. What a blessing that has proved to be. My faith walk and spirituality have matured so much during my stay. Pastor Perry and his staff made me feel special and part of the family from my first visit. Now all of my local family attends here, 4 generations! God is good.
Learning how to make a difference in God’s kingdom, I began serving in the Holy Grounds Coffee Shop and before long was asked to oversee the volunteers. The laughter, friendships and bonds proved to be well worth the investment of my time. I then embraced other areas of ministry to include Ladies Fellowship, Benton Care Center, Second Chance Ranch and the Hospitality Team.
I never dreamed that stepping out of my comfort zone to embrace what God had planned for me would prove to be one of my greatest blessings. This church has so much love and passion for serving God and others, I am glad to say, I am home!"
Tim and Nicole have been married for 25 years and have 3 children Spencer 24, Alyssa 21 and Madelyn 17. They have attended FCB for 24 years. They both were also in Pastor Perry’s youth group, so you could say they have been under his ministry for at least 32 years. Tim and Nicole have served in lots of different areas of the church. Nursery when their kids were babies and teaching young marrieds when they too were “young marrieds”. Tim served on the sound team in adult service and Nicole served on the worship team for about 10 years until they both started working in the youth department in 2005. They have both been working in the youth for 13 years and they will continue to work there until God leads them elsewhere.
